Hi there. Just letting you know that I haven't watched Pinkie Apple Pie yet, and won't be watching tomorrow's new episode either. But it's ok, because when this is over, I'll get to a weekend with plenty of new episodes to watch! It actually happened last year at one point, so, yeah!

Even though I'm having this small break from the Season, I leave you this update post, with an observation for a bonus.

One thing I hadn't noticed until only a few weeks ago, about the characters' new diary... It's the same book Spike is holding in the opening sequence! (In the group shot, when Photo Finish is taking their picture.)
It's interesting because the two main new elements of the show are appearing in that shot (the other element being Twilight with wings), but it's also interesting because, even though, as we can see, the diary was shown in the intro before being actually introduced, we regarded it as nothing special at the time, so it didn't spoil us in any way. Good subtleness there.
